Athenian Nail Spa & Bar was founded in 2014 with the goal of revolutionizing the nail salon industry by bringing a modern format and style, an entertainment-based environment, software & technology innovations, and medical grade standards of sanitation by utilizing autoclave sterilizers and all disposable supplies. Since then, we’ve gone on to be featured by several major networks such as CMT, USA, Bravo!, and E! Entertainment Network on shows such as ‘I Love Kellie Pickler’ and ‘Chrisley Knows Best’. The business partnered with Fresh Hospitality Group in 2019, and has joined with Shear Perfection Academy to co-develop our own brand of cosmetology schools as Athenian Academy.
The Nashville Skyline
Our logo seeks to replicate the iconic ‘Batman’ building synonymous with the Nashville skyline, with the peaks of the ‘N’ and ‘I’ extending higher than the others.
The Owl & the Arrow
In almost every depiction of Athena, you’ll usually see her portrayed with (or as) an owl and holding an arrow or spear. The owl also reflects that we are open much later than traditional nail salons – until 10pm on most nights.
The Parthenon
The Parthenon stands proudly as the centerpiece of Nashville’s Centennial Park The building and the 42-foot Athena statue are both full-scale replicas of one of the original seven wonders of the ancient world.
